I worked with the team at Taylor Strategy to showcase the positive environmental and social impact of Capital One in a 119-page PDF. A project of this size required lots of my superpowers—expanding the brand style into an engaging report, building a complex but adaptable template for easy use among a team of three designers, creating fresh illustrations and new iconography to complement Capital One's evolving library, and managing the design team as we built the document together. I also ensured the final document was ADA accessible, based on the priorities provided by the Capital One team.

2020 forced a cultural shift like no other. Concern for public health shuttered businesses and isolated communities. The Tokyo 2020 Olympics were postponed to 2021 and pared down in scale. In-person business meetings and events migrated to online experiences. Capital One wanted to spread hope for 2021 by organizing an internal Zoom event with two iconic Olympians—Simone Biles and Katie Ledecky. “Gold Medal Goals” was born. The logo needed to embrace a sporting spirit and lots of information, as showcased in the comps and final logo above. To finish out the identity, I incorporated a bright vision board theme into emails and mailer inserts.
ERG Logos
I had the opportunity to work with the internal design team at Capital One to assist in creating logos for employee resource groups and teams. Three of those projects are shared below, with alternative options that were presented.
